Twelfth Annual Tour of Historic Homes & Gardens: Dunleath
May 21, 2022 - May 22, 2022
Join Us in Celebrating National Preservation Month!
Preservation Greensboro’s Twelfth Annual Tour of Historic Homes & Gardens will feature vintage homes in the Dunleath neighborhood during May, National Historic Preservation Month.
“We are excited to focus on the history, architecture, and gardens of this classic Greensboro neighborhood,” says Benjamin Briggs, executive director of Preservation Greensboro. “This community is home to an eclectic mix of artists, college professors, and creative entrepreneurs who seek the roomy Victorian houses and cozy Craftsman bungalows that line the streets.”
The tour will blend virtual and in-person elements over the course of the month. The tour highlights charming examples of early twentieth-century architecture. Watch this website and our social media outlets for more updates on our exciting Tour of Historic Homes & Gardens in Dunleath!
Virtual Tours Online
Beginning Saturday, May 21, enjoy links to videos www.oldsite.preservationgreensboro.org that will explore four fascinating historic homes through the words of those who live in them! Each house has a special story to tell, told from the perspective of their caretakers. Our homes represent a diversity of architectural styles, sizes, and renovation statuses…including one house under restoration! Each video tour is free, but we hope that you will make a meaningful contribution to our event to support the mission of Preservation Greensboro.
